Background: Diagnosing anaphylaxis in children within the first 2 years of life can be difficult due to the often confusing and nonspecific signs and symptoms.
Objective: This study focuses on the phenotype of anaphylaxis in children within the first 2 years of life and aims to increase awareness of anaphylaxis in this age group.
Methods: The study included children between 0 and 2 years who were diagnosed as having anaphylaxis by pediatric allergists in 11 tertiary hospitals.
Introduction: Ocrelizumab is a CD20-targeting monoclonal antibody used for treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). Serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) neurofilament light (NFL) chain levels are reduced in MS patients under ocrelizumab treatment indicating a preventive action against neuro-axonal degeneration. Our aim, in this preliminary study, was to explore the impact of ocrelizumab treatment on synaptic integrity through assessment of neurogranin levels.

In immunologic evaluation, lower T, B and natural killer cells and higher levels of adenosine deaminase (ADA) metabolites were observed. The compound heterozygous novel gene mutations causing ADA deficiency were detected.

The percentage of peripheral blood Treg cells, in vitro-generated induced Tregs differentiated from naive CD4 T cells were decreased despite the elevated absolute counts of CD4 cells in LAD-1 patients. Serum IL-23 levels were elevated in LAD-1 patients.
