A 54-year old man diagnosed with rectal cancer underwent laparoscopic high anterior resection with Japanese D3 lymph node dissection. The pathology results were as follows: pT2pN3M0, pStage Ⅲb(Japanese Classification of Colorectal, 8th edition). Adjuvant chemotherapy with CapeOX regimen was administered 8 courses.
