The purpose of the study was to identify factors characterizing a decrease in LV global systolic function in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) after revascularization using cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based ischemic injury pattern and laboratory parameters sensu left ventricular global systolic function. A total of 109 STEMI patients were examined. The patients underwent contrast-enhanced cardiac MRI with a 1.

Materials And Methods: Included were 112 EMI patients who received atorvastatin 20-40-80 mg. On days 7-9 from the onset of the disease, after 24 and 48 weeks, ultrasound examination of the carotid arteries with RF technology and applanation tonometry were performed, the lipid profile was determined.
Acute change in mental state is characterized by an impaired level of consciousness, decreased attention, and cognitive changes, and has a variable course throughout its period. Delirium is common in the elderly and hospitalized patients, especially after major surgeries, and increases mortality and morbidity in patients. This study was designed to investigate the relationship between the incidence of delirium after heart surgery and some intrusive factors during surgery.

This disease can be characterized by excessive prominent trabeculations and deep inter-trabecular recesses in the ventricular wall. It might be a component of biventricular non-compact cardiomyopathy or an isolated form.

The current trend in recent years is the search and development of models of cognitive rehabilitation of elderly patients on the basis of digital technology with the ability to transfer the effect on the motor and mental sphere. The literature sources of the last 5-7 years describe dozens of methods of cognitive rehabilitation, including on the basis of computer games, which demonstrate the importance of these techniques not only in improving the cognitive abilities of patients, but also in Preservation of social adaptation and daily functioning.

The data on the cytogenetic monitoring of the Usmansky and Khrenovskoy autochthonic pine stands (Voronezh Region) allow their status to be rated satisfactory. The indices of the mitotic and nucleolar activity as well as of abnormal mitosis were within the normal variation range for Scotch pine. However, the occurrence of micronuclei (less than 1%) points to pathological processes starting in the stands, which necessitates urgent measures for the conservation of the Usmansky and Khrenovskoy Forests as valuable gene sources.

This object is of exceptional economic value, because it serves as a forest-seed base for the Voronezh oblast and some other regions of Russia; therefore, the stand and seed qualities have to be monitored constantly. The results of the first cytogenetic study of the seed progeny of P.

The results enable to conclude that MAC of formaldehyde (or combined with woody dust) increases danger of symptomatic allergies and considerably alters immune reactivity, causing atopic immune state. Formaldehyde promotes general nonspecific diseases by inducing the hyperergic reactivity that exhausts immune defense mechanisms.

During this work the data bank on infant mortality in Tallinn based on deaths registration in city archive for period 1968-1992 has been created. This bank includes the data on parents' occupation.
