Purpose: To assess the incidence of pelvic insufficiency fractures (PIFs) after concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC), their time of onset and risk factors. We also analysed the inter-observer agreement between gynaecologic radiologists (GYN readers) and radiologists expert in musculoskeletal imaging (MSK reader) in detecting PIFs in our tertiary care centre.
Methods: Patients with confirmed LACC who underwent concurrent chemoradiation (CCRT) at our institution from June 2019 to November 2022 were retrospectively included.
Purpose: To compare Italian use with current international guidelines and to evaluate oncological outcomes and toxicity patterns of adjuvant radiation therapy (RT) for endometrial cancer (EC) in Italian women.
Materials And Methods: To conduct a retrospective multicentre Italian study a large database was set up. Inclusion criteria were: accrual between 2010 and 2020, treatment with surgery, post-operative external beam RT (EBRT) and/or interventional radiotherapy (IRT) associated or not with adjuvant chemotherapy.
Purpose: To evaluate the predictors of delayed discharge for patients undergoing robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) at our Institution since the introduction of the single port (SP) robotic system.
Methods: We performed a retrospective review of our prospectively maintained database of patients undergoing RAPN from September 2020 to August 2024. Patients were categorized by the postoperative day of their discharge: POD1 (single overnight stay) or POD > 1 (more than one night stay).
The advancements of technological devices and software are putting mixed reality in the frontline of teaching medical personnel. The Microsoft HoloLens 2 offers a unique 3D visualization of a hologram in a physical, real environment and allows the urologists to interact with it. This review provides a state-of-the-art analysis of the applications of the HoloLens in a medical and healthcare context of teaching through simulation designed for medical students, nurses, residents especially in urology.

Methods: Among the study period, 133 patients who underwent ORC and pelvic node dissection for bladder cancer (group 1) were matched and compared to 61 patients who underwent icRARC during the same period (group 2). The groups were matched 1:1 according to their propensity scores adjusted on their baseline demographics and disease characteristics.

Methods: A transperitoneal RAPN was performed in a 62-year-old male patient presenting with a 4 cm right anterior interpolar renal mass (R.E.
Importance: Evidence on prostate cancer (PCa) in transgender women is very limited; data are needed to reduce gender disparities in both PCa knowledge and health care.
Objective: To evaluate the prevalence of PCa among transgender women in the US and assess the factors associated with PCa, and factors associated with biochemical recurrence (BCR) and bone metastases (BM) secondary to PCa in the transgender population.
Design, Setting, And Participants: A retrospective cohort study was conducted in October 2023, covering the period between 2011 and 2022 (12-year analysis).

Objective: Discrepancies in survival outcomes of various genitourinary tract malignancies have been documented across different racial and ethnic groups. Here we sought to examine long-term survival outcomes of patients with upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) following radical nephroureterectomy (RNU) when stratified by race.
Methods: A multicenter retrospective analysis using the ROBUUST (ROBotic surgery for Upper tract Urothelial cancer Study) registry identified patients undergoing RNU for UTUC between 2015 and 2022 at 12 centers across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Background: The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the da Vinci Single Port robotic platform, including instruments and tools that can aid in implementing the use of this novel platform.
Methods: Footage recorded during various Single port robotic urologic procedures and dry labs performed at two US institutions was used as video material. A step-by-step guide illustrating key points on OR set-up, platform, instruments, trocar configurations, intraoperative suctioning, bedside assistance were discussed and highlighted.
Background: Single-port robot-assisted simple prostatectomy is a minimally invasive alternative for patients with large benign prostatic hyperplasia with severe symptoms and/or failure of medical treatment. In recent literature, the rate of incidental prostate cancer after simple prostatectomy ranges from 1.8% to 13.
