  • Identification and antimicrobial susceptibility tests were conducted on 149 Gram-negative isolates using VITEK 2, with further genetic analysis performed through PCR and DNA sequencing, revealing significant rates of carbapenem resistance and clonal transmission among the isolates.
  • Results indicated that 59% of the isolates produced carbapenemase, with a notable diversity of clones present, emphasizing the need for routine molecular studies and enhanced infection control practices to combat these infections effectively.

The application of proximal hyperspectral sensing, using simple vegetation indices, offers an easy, fast, and non-destructive approach for assessing various plant variables related to salinity tolerance.
