Background: Mental health among older women is substantial due to their longer life expectancy. They are more susceptible to mental disorders like depression and anxiety compared to older men. Additionally, older women fulfill essential family roles and depend on social support for age-related health issues.

Method: 170 BTM participants aged 18 years and older with at least 1 or more active carious lesions were randomly allocated into 2 groups (1:1). 25% silver nitrate solution application followed by 5% NaF varnish was administered to Group I, and Group II received 38% SDF.
Nowadays, in the field of environmental protection, a huge effort is focused on efficient and sustainable processes to treat wastewaters. The current study emphasizes the photocatalytic performance of TiNbO, a nano-heterostructure material derived from the oxidation of (TiNb)CT MXene. The TiNbO nano-heterostructure exhibited remarkable performance in the degradation of caffeine (CAF) and sulfamethoxazole (SMX) under UVA irradiation in the presence of peroxymonosulfate (PMS).

Here, plasma levels of IL-8, CCL4, osteopontin, LIF and BDNF were determined at baseline (T0), after 2 months of therapy (T2) and, when feasible, at progression (TP), in 70 melanoma patients treated with BRAF and MEK inhibitors. The association of baseline cytokine levels with clinical response, progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) was evaluated.

Three different compositions of binary MXenes, viz., (TiNb)CT , (TiNb)CT , and (TiNb)CT (with T = OH, F, and Cl), were used as single-source precursor to produce TiNbO -3:1, TiNbO -1:1, and TiNbO -1:3 by controlled-atmosphere thermal oxidation.

However, no study yet examined the association between an anti-inflammatory diet and cutaneous melanoma and explored whether it could be modified by genetic variations in cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), a key enzyme in inflammation. A case-control study was conducted in the IDI-IRCCS hospital in Rome, Italy with 273 cases of primary cutaneous melanoma and 269 controls frequency matched to cases.

Introduction: Inguinal hernia is common, but the groin area can host various pathologies. Distinguishing clinically between hernias and rare conditions like torsion of funiculocele poses challenges due to similar presentations.
Case Presentation: A 50-year-old man, with a 10-year-history of a groin mass, presented with a painful groin mass, initially diagnosed as a strangulated hernia.
Introduction And Importance: Splenic artery aneurysms (SAA's) pose a rare yet clinically significant challenge, characterized by the weakening and ballooning of the splenic artery, potentially leading to severe complications such as rupture and hemorrhage.
Case Presentation: A 52-year-old female presenting with biliary colic. Diagnostic imaging revealed a saccular lesion closely associated with gallstones.
Introduction: Echinococcosis, caused by larval stages of taeniid cestodes, primarily affects the liver and is commonly treated surgically. However, a complication post-treatment is biliary fistula, necessitating interventions like biliary stents. While stent complications are recognized, proximal migration leading to pneumonia is exceptionally rare.

Introduction And Importance: Primary hydatid cyst of the retroperitoneum is an exceedingly rare manifestation of hydatid disease. Diagnosis proves challenging due to nonspecific symptoms, and the condition is typically not suspected when facing a retroperitoneal cystic mass, necessitating awareness among clinicians and surgeons, particularly in endemic regions.
Case Presentation: A 45-year-old male with a three-month history of progressive abdominal enlargement and pain.
Introduction And Importance: The Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUD), a widely used contraceptive since 1965, has demonstrated efficacy but is associated with complications such as bleeding, pain, and rare occurrences of perforation. This case report details an IUD migration into the peritoneal cavity, leading to acute appendicitis.
Case Presentation: A 33-year-old woman, with a history of IUD insertion 16 months prior, presented with pelvic pain.
Introduction: Jejunogastric intussusception (JGI) is a rare but potentially lethal complication following gastrectomy or gastrojejunostomy surgeries. Diagnosis of this condition can be challenging due to its rarity and non-specific symptoms. This article presents a case report of a 60-year-old male with a history of trans mesocolic gastrojejunostomy who developed acute symptoms of JGI.

RP presents with non-specific symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, and weight loss, making accurate diagnosis challenging. Due to its rarity and symptom overlap with other conditions, RP requires careful management by a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Case Presentation: We present a rare case of AII caused by a lipoma in a previously healthy 44-year-old man. He experienced severe right lower quadrant pain and constipation.
Introduction And Importance: Bouveret Syndrome, a rare form of gallstone ileus, involves the migration and impaction of a gallstone in the duodenum or stomach, causing gastric outlet obstruction. Early intervention and a comprehensive care plan are essential for favorable outcomes.
Case Presentation: This article presents a case of an 82-year-old female with a history of coronary artery disease and untreated gallstones.
Introduction And Significance: Pneumatosis intestinalis (PI), the presence of gas within the intestinal wall, is a rare but significant gastrointestinal condition. It may be associated with underlying gastrointestinal disorders or detected incidentally, posing diagnostic challenges. This article emphasizes the importance of recognizing and managing this condition conservatively when appropriate.

While Comprehensive Genomic Profiling of solid tumours has been approved as a companion diagnostic, still no approved predictive biomarkers are available for Melanoma aside from BRAF mutations and the controversial Tumor Mutational Burden. This study presents the results of a Multi-Centre Observational Clinical Trial of Comprehensive Genomic Profiling on Target and Immuno-therapy treated advanced Melanoma.
