- The study examines the mechanical, thermal, and chemical characteristics of hybrid composites made from basalt and woven glass fiber reinforced polyester.
- FTIR analysis indicated that the addition of single or hybrid fibers didn't alter the chemical properties, while DMA results showed that the B7.5/G22.5 composite had the best elastic and viscous behavior.
- Thermal analysis showed that the B22.5/G7.5 composite had the highest thermal stability at 70.80 °C, and overall, the hybrid composites outperformed single fiber composites in both mechanical and thermal aspects.
