Introduction: The study explores the relationship between son preference and the desire for more children in the context of polygyny in Pakistan. It also highlights the link between household wealth status and son preference.
Methods: Data analysis entails logistic regression and simple linear regression tests utilizing data from the Demographic and Health Survey 2017-2018.
Introduction: The research explores the association between son preference, utilization of modern contraception, and fertility intention among polygynous families in Pakistan.
Method: Logistic regression, margins plot, and propensity score matching techniques were implied for the analysis, using demographic and health surveys 2017-2018.
Results: The results reveal higher odds for using modern contraception (0.
Introduction: The United Nations report in 2021 ranks Pakistan 21st among countries with the highest infant and child mortality rate in the world. It is the fifth most populous country in the world with a growth rate of 2% annually. Therefore, understanding child mortality is crucial to reducing the child mortality burden.

During facile synthesis of Fe-B, Rambutan peel extract was used as the green reducing mediator to reduce Fe to zerovalent iron (Fe), instead of toxic sodium borohydride which were used for chemical synthesis. For comparison, chemically synthesized Fe-B nanocomposite was also prepared in this work.

PdNPs with high surface defect grown on an indium tin oxide (ITO) surface were prepared via a simple immersion of the substrate into a solution containing K2PdCl6, sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), and formic acid for 2 h at room temperature. The sample showed remarkably high heterogeneous catalytic efficiency by producing 99.
