This explanatory sequential mixed-methods study investigates the factors influencing Thai fathers' involvement in early childhood Childcare. In the quantitative phase ( = 230), fathers' involvement in Childcare was assessed using a Childcare involvement scale to identify key contributing factors. The qualitative phase ( = 20) further elaborated on these quantitative findings through content analysis.

Factors Affecting Hospital Provision of Health-Promoting Services Transferred to Provincial Administration in Thailand.

Following the transfer of hospital services to provincial government oversight, it is essential to understand how such changes impact service quality and efficiency. This study, conducted from 1 March 2023 to 31 March 2024 at sub-district health-promoting hospitals in Thailand, aims to identify the factors affecting hospital service quality post-transfer and evaluate the role of professional nurses in maintaining service standards under new governance. Utilizing a mixed-methods design based on the Global Fund-HSS framework (2012), which categorizes factors into accessibility, processes, productivity, and outcomes, we collected data from 340 nurses and 400 patients through structured questionnaires.

Parents' experiences of their teenage children's parenthood: An interview study.

In this study, we described and analyzed parents' experiences of teenage parenthood and the provision of support to their teenage children who had recently have become parents. A qualitative method was used. In-depth interviews with 24 participants were conducted, all parents of teenage parents.

Becoming a father for the first time might cause great changes in a man's identity and lifestyle. Teenage fathers must strive to balance two competing roles: the teenage role and the father role. The current study design followed grounded theory methodology to gain a deeper understanding of how Thai teenage fathers reason about becoming and being a father from a gender equality perspective.

Father role: A comparison between teenage and adult first-time fathers in Thailand.

In this study, we compared perceived father roles among teenage and adult first-time fathers in Thailand. The design was cross-sectional and comparative, and the sample involved 70 teenage and 70 adult fathers, whose children were 2-6 months old. The fathers were recruited from 32 primary healthcare centers in the western region of Thailand.

Childrearing among thai first-time teenage mothers.

The aim of this study is to explore and describe the experiences of being a teenage mother and taking care of infants less than 6 months of age. Ten teenage mothers were interviewed. Latent content analysis was used to analyze interview transcripts with the teenage mothers.
