Introduction: Sexual health concerns are common and significantly impact quality of life, but many people do not seek treatment due to embarrassment and other barriers. A biopsychosocial model of assessment and treatment acknowledges the biological, psychological, and social contributors to sexual difficulties and suggests that all these domains should be evaluated.
Objectives: This paper provides an overview of the major psychological factors contributing to sexual difficulties and offer an evidence-based approach for primary care clinicians to assess and treat these issues.

There is an abundance of research linking experiences of childhood adversity to negative physical and mental health outcomes. Areas that remain to be explored and expanded upon include the ideal set of events for inclusion in measures of childhood adversity and testing the models of risk (e.g.

UNRWA runs 140 primary health care clinics, providing approximately nine million medical consultations a year.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective multicentric study, based on the French national network on rare head and neck cancers (REFCOR), included all patients with a T3-T4 salivary carcinoma of the tongue, diagnosed between January 2009 and December 2018.
Objectives: The management of the facial nerve (FN) is a major issue in parotid cancer, especially when there is no preoperative facial palsy and FN invasion is discovered intraoperatively. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of FN resection in patients with parotid cancer abutting the FN, without pretreatment facial palsy, using a propensity score matching.
Materials And Methods: Data from all patients treated between 2009 and 2020 for a primary parotid cancer abutting or invading the FN but without pretreatment facial palsy were extracted from the national multicentric REFCOR database.
Objective: The objective was to assess Potsic, EAONO/JOS, STAMCO, and ChOLE cholesteatoma staging systems in a large homogenous pediatric cohort with long-term follow-up and propose an evidence-based improved version.
Study Design: Cohort study.
Setting: Retrospective study in a tertiary referral center.
The role of eculizumab in treating Shiga-toxin-producing (STEC) hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) patients with neurological involvement remains unclear. We describe two distinctly different STEC-HUS patients with neurologic involvement successfully managed with eculizumab, and perform a literature review of all published cases. Both patients had complete resolution of neurological symptoms after initiation of eculizumab.

They facilitate the volumetric reconstruction of the tongue, leveraging passive mobility from the remaining native tongue tissue. The challenge in tongue reconstruction surgery remains achieving functional restoration through adequate volume and optimized mobility, using tissue that is both adapted and comparable to native tissue.

The French Rare Head and Neck Cancer Expert Network (REFCOR) as established a national database to collect data on these rare cancers. This study aims to describe patient and tumour characteristics in this database.

The aim of this study was to survey a panel of French otorhinolaryngologists about their practices and to evaluate their needs.
Method: A national-level survey of the management of iatrogenic LTS was conducted using a 41-item questionnaire, in 4 sections, sent to a panel of French otorhinolaryngologists between July and December 2022.
Objectives: To analyse prognostic factors and survival outcomes of malignant tumors of the external auditory canal, to investigate the role of regional surgery, and adjuvant radiotherapy in early stages and to investigate the role of surgery in operable T4 stage.
Setting: A retrospective analysis was conducted on all patients prospectively included in the national database of the French Expertize Network for Rare ENT Cancers (REFCOR) from January 2000 to December 2016.
Participants: 103 patients from 19 reference centers were included.
Introduction: Laryngeal chondrosarcoma (LCS) is a rare tumor of slow evolution whose treatment is poorly codified. For a long time, a radical treatment by total laryngectomy (TL) was proposed. More recent studies tend to propose a conservative surgical approach of the larynx.

Proper brush border assembly depends on the intermicrovillar adhesion complex (IMAC), a protocadherin-based adhesion complex found at the distal tips of microvilli that mediates adhesion between neighboring protrusions to promote their organized packing. Loss of the IMAC adhesion molecule Cadherin-related family member 5 (CDHR5) results in significant brush border defects, though the functional properties of this protocadherin have not been thoroughly explored.

This includes reactive neutrals formed by fragmentation of the feed gas, positive ions, and electrons generated by electron-impact ionization of the feed gas and fragments, excited states (in particular, long-lived metastable species), and photons produced by spontaneous de-excitation of excited atoms and molecules. Notably, some of these species can be transiently present during the different phases of plasma processing, such as etching of thin layer deposition.

When the artificial ostium is created, it is usually kept open with local flaps, like the septal nasopharyngeal "kite flap", a reliable local vascularized flap. Laryngoscope, 134:2111-2114, 2024.

As such, its correct management generally needs trans-nasal endoscopic medial maxillectomy (EMMs) for adequate resection. The aim of this manuscript is to describe outcomes and major prognostic factors of a cohort of patients with IPMS who were treated with EMM.
