Time to full enteral feeding and its predictors among very low birth weight (VLBW) neonates admitted to the neonatal intensive care units (NICU) in comprehensive specialized hospitals in Northwest Ethiopia.

Background: Time to full enteral feeding is the time when neonates start to receive all of their prescribed nutrition as milk feeds. Delayed to achieve full enteral feeding had resulted in short- and long-term physical and neurological sequelae. However, there are limited studies to assess the time to full enteral feeding and its predictors among very low birth-weight neonates in Ethiopia.
