The scope of this article is to verify if there are differences in factors associated with calcium intake between men and women. It is based on a study conducted with data from a health survey in a sample of 1641 individuals aged 20 years or more living in the urban area of the city of Campinas, in the State of São Paulo. A key challenge in realizing practical quantum networks for long-distance quantum communication involves robust entanglement between quantum memory nodes connected by fibre optical infrastructure. Here we demonstrate a two-node quantum network composed of multi-qubit registers based on silicon-vacancy (SiV) centres in nanophotonic diamond cavities integrated with a telecommunication fibre network. Remote entanglement is generated by the cavity-enhanced interactions between the electron spin qubits of the SiVs and optical photons.

Main Results: From 2000 to 2020, there was a downward trend in mortality due to infectious respiratory disease in children living in Minas Gerais - even in 2020, the year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Implications For Services: There was a reduction in child deaths due to respiratory infections; health services should be alerted as to the considerable presence of ill-defined or inconclusive codes (garbage codes) on death certificates.

Perspectives: It is necessary to maintain the effectiveness of health actions among the mother and child population and to improve the records held on the Mortality Information System, in order to enable better monitoring of mortality as well as to enable analytical studies to be conducted.

Long-distance quantum communication and networking require quantum memory nodes with efficient optical interfaces and long memory times. We report the realization of an integrated two-qubit network node based on silicon-vacancy centers (SiVs) in diamond nanophotonic cavities. Our qubit register consists of the SiV electron spin acting as a communication qubit and the strongly coupled silicon-29 nuclear spin acting as a memory qubit with a quantum memory time exceeding 2 seconds.

Landau damping has previously been shown to be the dominant nonlocal effect in sub-10nm plasmonic nanostructures, although its effects on the performance of plasmonic nanocavities are still poorly understood. In this work, the effects of Landau damping in sub-10-nm planar plasmonic nanocavities are analyzed theoretically, and it is shown that while Landau damping does not affect the confinement of the cavity modes, it decreases the quality factor 10-fold due to the introduction of extra loss for sub-10nm gap sizes. As compared to purely classical models, this results in a suppression in the Purcell factor by 10 fold, the spontaneous emission rate by almost two orders of magnitude, and the required oscillator strength to achieve strong light-matter coupling by two orders of magnitude as the gap is reduced to ∼0.
