Updates on the Association Between Vitiligo and Thyroid Diseases: A Systematic Review.

The main objective of this study is to estimate the prevalence of thyroid diseases in patients with vitiligo and investigate the potential shared autoimmune mechanisms underlying the co-occurrence of vitiligo and thyroid diseases. To locate research that met the inclusion criteria, a thorough computerized search of relevant databases was carried out. A comprehensive search was carried out on PubMed, SCOPUS, Science Direct, and Web of Science to locate relevant material.
