Mycotic aneurysms are rare, and depending on their location, can threaten functional prognosis. We report on a 17-year-old girl with no previous history of cardiovascular or infectious disease, referred to our Department of Cardiology with right hemiplegia and aphasia. A neurological evaluation revealed thrombosis of a mycotic cerebral aneurysm, complicated by ischemic and hemorrhagic infarction.
