Impact of Ethical Ideologies on Students' Attitude toward Animals-A Pakistani Perspective.

Idealism and relativism are components of ethical ideologies which have been explored in relation to animal welfare and attitudes, and potential cultural differences. The present study investigated how ethical ideologies influenced attitude toward animals among undergraduate students. With the help of stratified random sampling, 450 participants were selected from both private and public sector universities in Pakistan.

A clinical study on the effectiveness of biopsychosocial-spiritual treatment approach for diabetic patients.

The purpose of conducting this study was to examine the effectiveness of a biopsychosocial-spiritual model in the management of symptoms of a diabetic patient. A 38-year-old female diagnosed with diabetes complained of bouts of sadness and fatigue, a reduced interaction with others, difficulty in falling asleep, felt irritable and experienced severe pain in the joints. The Siddique Shah Depression scale was used to assess her in a semistructured interview with a subjective rating in which she scored a depression of 293.

A Case Study on the Effectiveness of Cognitive and Behavioural Approaches for Diabetic Patient with Cardiac Disease.

Diabetes Mellitus is a non-infectious disease that is caused by insulin resistance. Current case provides a detailed account of a 45-year female diagnosed with diabetes and coronary heart disease having complaints of pain in her joints, sadness and worry, unable to control anger, loss of interest in previous pleasurable activities, reduced interaction with others, and difficulty falling asleep. After assessment, patient was diagnosed with 293.
