Background: Single-Atom Catalysts (SACs) are heterogeneous catalysts that demonstrate exceptional efficiency and selectivity due to the use of individual metal atoms at the atomic scale. The substantial number of patents filed on SACs underscore their commercial and technological importance, highlighting their potential across various industries. SACs are increasingly applied in areas such as energy generation, environmental applications, and chemical synthesis, reflecting their growing scientific and technical importance.

Here, our study found that Hongcaomi (a red rice variety) of five examined rice cultivars contained the highest total polyphenol content and total flavonoid content and the strongest antioxidant activity, with values of 5.83 mg GAE/g, 1.

To address this challenge, our research focuses on enlarging the key space in symmetric key schemes by integrating the non-chain ring with a four-dimensional chaotic system. While chaotic maps offer significant potential for data processing, relying solely on them does not fully leverage their operational advantages.

GLP-1 has been extensively studied in terms of its influence on metabolism, but less attention has been devoted to GLP-2 in this regard. The current study compares the effects of these proglucagon-derived peptides on pancreatic beta-cell function, as well as on glucose tolerance and appetite.

Thus, this study aims to investigate the latest picture of modern contraceptive use and its associated socio-demographic factors among currently married non-pregnant of reproductive aged (15-49 years) women in West Bengal.
Methods: The study is based on secondary data, collected from the fifth round of the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5; 2019-20).

Most eukaryotic genes encode polypeptides that are either obligate members of hetero-stoichiometric complexes or clients of organelle-targeting pathways. Proteins in these classes can be released from the ribosome as "orphans"-newly synthesized proteins not associated with their stoichiometric binding partner(s) and/or not targeted to their destination organelle. Here we integrate recent findings suggesting that although cells selectively degrade orphan proteins under homeostatic conditions, they can preserve them in chaperone-regulated biomolecular condensates during stress.

Infrared radiation detection is significantly important in communication, imaging, and sensing fields. Here, we present the integration of germanium selenide (GeSe) with a metal-oxide heterojunction to achieve efficient near-infrared (850 nm) photodetection under zero bias conditions. Nickel oxide (NiO) and silicon (Si) formed a favorable energy band alignment for the efficient separation of photogenerated charge carriers, resulting in a high figure of merits.

This study delves into the rural-urban differential in undernutrition among reproductive-aged women in India for targeted policy interventions and to achieve universal health coverage. Data from the recent iteration of the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5; 2019-21) were utilized to examine the factors influencing rural-urban differentials in women's undernutrition.

This new structure uses membership and non-membership hesitancy and is more adaptable for arriving at values in a domain. Since it has the capability to treat multiple fuzzy sets over the degrees of membership and non-membership, the DHFFS greatly improves the flexibility of approaches to tackle multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems.

Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, also known as Hughes syndrome, is a multi-system autoimmune disorder characterized by recurrent thrombosis and fetal loss. The most common types of antiphospholipid antibodies include lupus anticoagulants, anticardiolipin antibodies, and anti-beta 2 glycoprotein 1 antibodies. Owing to the prothrombotic nature of this disease, diagnosing and treating the condition as early as possible is necessary.

Stress pathways transiently induce response regulons via negative feedback loops, but the extent to which individual genes provide feedback has not been comprehensively measured for any pathway. Here, we disrupted the induction of each gene in the Saccharomyces cerevisiae heat shock response (HSR) and quantified cell growth and HSR dynamics following heat shock.

The circle of Vieussens is a rare collateral pathway between the right coronary artery and the left anterior descending artery (LAD) that plays a significant role specifically in patients with chronic total occlusions (CTOs). This article presents a unique case of the circle of Vieussens in a 26-year-old Asian female with a history of Kawasaki disease and CTO of the proximal LAD.

A detailed patient history, focusing on specific inquiries about recent boat or ship travel, is crucial for a timely diagnosis. The syndrome is unique in that reintroducing similar movements, such as driving, swinging, or returning to the boat, alleviates symptoms temporarily.

Elemental substitution to expand layers, creation of sulfur vacancies, and reduction of particle sizes of VS are undoubtedly effective strategies to enhance cathodic performances. Experimental and DFT analysis revealed that valence states of vanadium and cobalt have been elevated from V to V and Co to Co in VS and that the Co-S bond length shortened due to cobalt substitution, which resulted in enhanced overall internal polarization in the layered atomic structure of VS by increasing cobalt concentrations.
