Papillary thyroid carcinoma is the most common primary thyroid cancer. Most frequently treated with surgical resection, some cases require radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy. Studies have suggested that there is an increase in second primary malignancy after RAI therapy amongst thyroid cancer survivors including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) as an infrequent cancer related to RAI therapy; it has a higher relative risk ratio in patients on higher doses of radiation exposure.

Study Objective: To compare the effectiveness of misoprostol and dinoprostone tablets administered vaginally 3 hours before copper intrauterine device (IUD) insertion vs placebo in reducing pain and increasing ease of insertion among nulliparous women.
Design: Randomized controlled trial.
Setting: Tertiary referral hospital.
Background: Identifying learning needs is an important component of care among patients with heart failure (HF). There is a discrepancy in the level of importance of information as perceived by patients, caregivers, and nurses. No studies have been conducted to identify learning needs among patients with HF in Jordan.

However; first- and second-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors are used for the treatment of CML with common and uncommon adverse events. Here, we report a 24-year-old male with CML in chronic phase started on imatinib as upfront medication who developed tremor and recovered spontenously after 3 years.

However, low image resolution and low frame rates are challenging issues in WCE. In addition, the relevant frames containing the features of interest for accurate diagnosis only constitute 1% of the complete video information.

Methods: A total of 16,370 records were collected from 8,271 buffalo calves. Genetic parameters and breeding values were estimated using a bivariate animal model which includes direct, maternal and permanent maternal effects.
Spirituality is an important factor that may mediate the detrimental impacts of hemodialysis on mental health. Lack of research examining spirituality and mental health in the Arab world in general and Jordan in particular encouraged this research. The study examined levels of spirituality, depression and anxiety and explored the association between them among patients receiving hemodialysis treatment in Jordan.

This requires storage and/or transmission of medical images with the conservation of the medical information over the communication channel. Accordingly, medical compression is necessary for efficient channel bandwidth utilization.

Materials And Methods: A total of 350 special care children (male-131, female-219) mean age of 12.6 (± 2.
Purpose: The main goal of this study is to evaluate the impact of physical incorporation of polyethylene glycol (PEG) into 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)-loaded polymeric nanoparticles (NPs).
Methods: The 5-FU-loaded NPs were prepared utilizing a simple double emulsion method using polycaprolactone (PCL) and polylactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) with or without PEG 6000. The surface charge, particle size, and shape of NPs were evaluated by standard procedures.
Purpose: End-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients on hemodialysis (HD) and their family caregivers (FCGs) reported poor quality of life (QoL). Hope has shown association with QoL at the individual level. However, the association between hope and QoL in dyads has never been examined in particular in dyads of patients and FCGs.

To date, there are no specific therapies for LF, and all the currently available drugs have been developed for other indications. Thus, there is a pressing need to develop new drugs for treatment of LF.

Materials And Methods: A total of 60 human mandibular premolar teeth were divided into four groups after standardized access preparation with a protaper technique followed by single-cone obturation to receive the following restorations for the access preparations. Group I ( = 20): bulk-fill composite (Filtek™ Bulk fill) using a bulk technique, group II ( = 20): bulk-fill composite (Filtek™ Bulk fill) using an incremental layering technique, group III (negative control) ( = 10): gutta-percha was kept intact at the access orifice and covered with a nail polish, and group IV (positive control) ( = 10): gutta-percha was kept intact at the orifice.
Obesity is demonstrated to be a risk factor in the development of cancers of various organs, such as colon, prostate, pancreas and so on. Leptine (LEP) is the most renowned of the adipokines. As a hormone, it mediates its effect through leptin receptor (LEPR), which is widely expressed in various tissues including colon mucosa.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate how the hip, knee, and ankle moments in the sagittal plane contribute to the vertical ground reaction force (GRF) in healthy participants during normal speed of walking.
Methods: Forty healthy male individuals volunteered to participate in this study. They were filmed using 6 high-speed (120 Hz) Pro-Reflex infrared cameras (Qualisys) while walking on an Advanced Mechanical Technology Incorporation force platform.
