CT is widely used for diagnosis, staging and management of cancer. The presence of metastasis has significant implications on treatment and prognosis. Deep learning (DL), a form of machine learning, where layers of programmed algorithms interpret and recognise patterns, may have a potential role in CT image analysis.

A PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) strategy was adopted to formulate an appropriate research question and define strict search terms to be entered into MEDLINE, CENTRAL and Google Scholar. The search was returned on 12/09/2019.

Thirteen 'Laws' were offered to rationalise the seemingly chaotic patient management and flow. There have been large shifts in the healthcare landscape and practice since, so we consider whether these medical truisms are still applicable to contemporary National Health Service practice and propose updates where necessary:People are sometimes allowed to die.

Materials And Methods: Carotid artery wall imaging was performed in 10 healthy volunteers and 15 patients in accordance with an institutional review board-approved protocol. Two-dimensional ( 2D two-dimensional ) turbo spin-echo ( TSE turbo spin echo ) and 3D three-dimensional fast low-angle shot ( FLASH fast low-angle shot ) sequences served as readout modules.
Preoperative cardiovascular evaluation of patients scheduled to undergo surgery requires a multidisciplinary approach involving anesthetists, surgeons, and cardiologists. Within the last 5 to 10 years, there have been considerable scientific advances in this field, and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association(ACC/AHA) have updated their guidelines.(1,11) Greater emphasis now lies on preoperative clinical risk stratification and less on routine cardiac testing.

Many achievements in vector development have allowed the progression of this therapy to become more attainable in clinical transplantation. In this articles, the authors examine the exciting development in various vector technologies that allows this form of therapy to take the central stage of clinical transplantation.

Methods: The study was confined to patients (n=115) with stable graft function at the time of biopsy; 76 adequate biopsies at day 7 and 79 at day 28 were performed.
Results: At day 7, 10 biopsy specimens (13%) showed acute rejection (AR) and 9 (12%) showed borderline changes.
