Incidence and burden of 671 injuries in professional women footballers: time to focus on context-specific injury risk reduction strategies.

This study investigated the extent of injury incidence and burden in a professional women football team of the Scottish Women's Premier League during two seasons. All injuries causing time-loss or required medical attention were recorded prospectively. A total of 671 injuries, 570 requiring medical attention and 101 causing time-loss were recorded in 41 players.

Percutaneous thrombectomy of upper extremity and thoracic central veins using Inari ClotTriever System: Experience in 14 patients.

Objective: In the present report, we have described the technical and clinical outcomes of percutaneous thrombectomy in the deep veins of the upper extremity and thorax using the ClotTriever system (Inari Medical, Irvine, CA).

Methods: Fourteen patients with symptomatic deep venous occlusive disease in the upper extremity deep veins and thoracic central veins who had undergone thrombectomy using the ClotTriever system between October 2020 and January 2022 were reviewed. The technical results, adverse events, imaging follow-up data, and clinical outcomes were recorded.

Interventional Radiology Education for Improving Primary Care Provider Awareness.

To evaluate the effectiveness of a lecture series in increasing awareness and knowledge about common interventional radiology (IR) procedures amongst emergency medicine and internal medicine residents at a tertiary care academic medical center.A series of two 60-minute lectures was presented at both the Emergency and Internal Medicine weekly didactic conferences for the respective residency programs. The lectures covered the indications, contraindications, imaging, pre-procedure preparation, complications, and follow-up of common IR procedures, including both didactics as well as interactive question and answer segments.

Fulminant musculoskeletal and neurologic sarcoidosis: case report and literature update.

We report a case of fulminant sarcoidosis in a 28-year-old man presenting with skin nodules, multifocal small and large joint arthralgias, and blurred vision. Characteristic bone, soft tissue, articular, and CNS findings were evident on multimodality imaging. Bony abnormalities included near-complete destruction of a distal phalanx, "lace-like" lucent lesions, erosive arthritis, lytic lesions with and without sclerotic margins, and bone marrow replacement visible only on MRI.
