Background: Webinars offer novel educational opportunities beyond those of traditional, in-person experiences. BRAINterns is an open-access webinar-based education platform created to replace opportunities lost during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. This program previously showed the efficacy of webinars to expand access to careers in medicine, and in particular, neurosurgery.

We found that the colonial spiny mouse () is significantly more gregarious, more prosocial, and less aggressive than its non-colonial relative, the Mongolian gerbil (). In an immediate-early gene study, we examined oxytocin (OT) and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) neural responses to interactions with a novel, same-sex conspecific or a novel object.
