Background: Chronic diseases are the leading cause of disability and death in the United States. Clinical pharmacists have been shown to optimize health outcomes and reduce healthcare expenditures in patients with chronic diseases through improving medication adherence.

Objective: The primary objective of this study was to evaluate a pharmacist-led, artificial intelligence-supported medication adherence program on medication adherence, select disease control measures, and healthcare expenditures.

Repair of the cleft palate intends to establish the division between the oral and nasal cavity, thereby improving feeding, speech, and eustachian tube dysfunction all while minimizing the negative impact on maxillary growth. Before palate repair candidacy, timing and surgical method of repair is dependent on comorbid conditions, particularly cardiac disease, mandibular length, and palate width. Additionally, management of the alveolar cleft and the indications for gingivoperiosteoplasty versus secondary alveolar bone grafting is a controversial topic that weighs the risks and benefits of potentially sparing the patient an additional surgery against iatrogenic restriction of facial growth and malocclusion.

Management of non-invasive rhinosinusitis in the immunosuppressed patient population.

Objective: Rhinologists are seeing an increasing number of immunosuppressed patients. Currently, no treatment paradigm exists for treating acute and chronic noninvasive rhinosinusitis (ARS, CRS) in this growing population. This study aims to identify patient and treatment factors that affect rhinosinusitis outcomes in this vulnerable population.

Voice outcomes after endoscopic treatment of laryngotracheal stenosis.

Objective: This study aimed to assess vocal disability in patients with laryngotracheal stenosis who are managed with endoscopic surgery, comparing patients with posterior glottic stenosis (PGS) to those with subglottic or tracheal stenosis (SGS/TS).
