Biliary disease is a common surgical problem. A unique case of a 53-year-old male with an enormous gallstone precluding safe laparoscopic cholecystectomy is presented. The patient was a 53-year-old male who presented to the emergency department with a 1-day history of abdominal pain for which clinical findings were consistent with acute cholecystitis.

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, and postoperative breast pain has been reported to be anywhere from 25% to 60%. However, there is sparse data regarding racial/ethnic differences in breast pain among breast cancer patients.
Methods: We performed a cross-sectional anonymous survey of breast cancer patients from the Hawaii Cancer Consortium over a 6-week period between 2019 and 2020.
