In children, there are two main techniques for placing a tunneled central venous catheter: single-incision (single puncture) and conventional (two punctures). Both have unique advantages and disadvantages. The modified single-stick technique combines the two aforementioned techniques to access the central venous system in an optimized way.

Vascular tumors of the breast are rare, but benign hemangiomas are the most common type. Capillary hemangiomas are a subset of benign vascular tumors that involve smaller vessel sizes.
