Contextual factors associated with running demands in elite Australian football: a scoping review.

Objectives: To identify and summarise the contextual factors associated with running demands in elite male Australian football (AF) gameplay that have been reported in the literature.

Design: Scoping review.

Methods: A contextual factor in sporting gameplay is a variable associated with the interpretation of results, yet is not the primary objective of gameplay.
