Medicinal Fritillaria herbs, known for their rich content of steroidal alkaloids, have emerged as promising candidates in the treatment of chronic diseases due to their diverse pharmacological properties. Leveraging advancements in network pharmacology and molecular docking, this study explores the multi-target mechanisms through which these alkaloids exert therapeutic effects. The integration of bioinformatics, systems biology, and pharmacology in drug discovery has provided insights into the molecular interactions and pathways influenced by Fritillaria steroidal alkaloids.

Its over-exploitation in wild habitats resulted in extensive depletion, necessitating alternative approaches to produce its therapeutic metabolites. This study sought to assess the ability of endophytes of V.

Here, the effect of water stress such as flooding and water deficit [80% (control), 60%, 40%, 20% field capacity (FC)] conditions on Valeriana jatamansi was studied. Both types of water stresses retarded the plant growth and biomass.

Over the years, over-exploitation, un-managed harvesting, and lack of captive cultivation procedures persuaded threat to its wild habitat. Plant tissue culture and RNA-Seq-based molecular bioprospection of key regulatory genes aid the understanding of molecular dynamics involved in specialized metabolites (phenylethanoids and phenylpropanoids) biosynthesis and its sustainable production.

However, the conventional plant cell culture is often not commercially feasible because of difficulties associated with culture dedifferentiated cells. Several reports have been published to culture CMCs and bypass the dedifferentiation process in plant cell culture.

The present study investigated the prospects of enhancing yield and secondary metabolite production in under aeroponic cultivation using elicitors, such as yeast extract and methyl jasmonate. Plants were evaluated by measuring growth parameters, photosynthetic rate, and secondary metabolites contents (on a dry weight basis).

Their isolation and culture provides the important source for the production of homogenous lines of active constituents that allow large-scale production of various metabolites. The process of dedifferentiation and reversal to pluripotent cells involves the various pathways genes related to the stem cells and are associated to each other for maintaining a specific niche.
