This study integrated hydrochemical analysis, isotopic analysis, the integrated water quality index (IWQI), and the health risk assessment model to analyze hydrochemical characteristics, quality, and nitrate health risks in a typical agricultural and industrial (i.e., Holocene and Pleistocene) simultaneously affected by anthropogenic activities, as well as to explore the recharge mechanisms of the groundwater.

Water pollution is a worldwide concern that has growing severe in developed and developing nations. Increasing groundwater pollution threatening both the physical and environmental health of billions of people as well as economic progress. Consequently, hydrogeochemistry, water quality and potential health risk assessment is crucial for water resource management.

Article Synopsis
  • The development of a stable and efficient hole extraction layer (HEL) is essential for the commercial viability of organic solar cells (OSCs).
  • Graphene oxide (GO) is emerging as a promising HEL, showing performance comparable to traditional materials, but comprehensive studies on its behavior in OSCs are still needed.
  • This article highlights GO's excellent properties, including a six-fold increase in shelf lifetime and a reduced space-charge limited region, which may explain its longevity and potential for advancing OSC technology.

This article describes the effect of the lateral size of graphene oxide (GO) on the humidity sensing properties of a GO-based sensor. The GO size effect on the humidity sensing performance was evaluated on gold electrodes drop-coated with either an ultralarge graphene oxide (UGO) sheet (lateral size = 47.4 ± 22.

Multilayer assemblies of uniform ultrathin film electrodes with good electrical conductivity and very large surface areas were prepared for use as electrochemical capacitors. A layer-by-layer self-assembly approach was employed in an effort to improve the processability of highly conducting polyaniline (PANi) and chemically modified graphene. The electrochemical properties of the multilayer film (MF-) electrodes, including the sheet resistance, volumetric capacitance, and charge/discharge ratio, were determined by the morphological modification and the method used to reduce the graphene oxide (GO) to reduced graphene oxide (RGO) in the multilayer films.
