All Indian species of the genus Basden are reviewed, with descriptions of four new species, Fartyal & Toda, . of the species group and Kandpal & Singh, , Pradhan & Chatterjee, and Sati & Fartyal, of the species group. Two of the new species, and , were found visiting flowers of and , respectively.
