The study assessed how polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects the quality of life in women, involving 249 participants in Istanbul from October 2022 to July 2023.
Findings showed significant relationships between PCOS, quality of life, age, and frequent weight loss diets, revealing that women with hormone imbalance and insulin resistance experienced the most significant impact on their quality of life, while those with menstrual irregularity and fatigue were less affected.
The conclusion emphasizes the importance of addressing the negative effects of PCOS on women's quality of life, suggesting that healthcare professionals should create tailored care plans based on the collected evidence.
