Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate postmarketing dimethyl fumarate (DMF) safety and effectiveness in a real-world population with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS).
Methods: This was a retrospective, single-center study with RRMS patients treated with DMF. Demographic, clinical, and imagiological characteristics were analyzed, including annualized relapse rate (ARR), Expanded Disability Status Scale, "No Evidence of Disease Activity 3," previous treatment, adverse events, treatment duration, and reason for discontinuation.

Introduction: Several questions about pregnancy in women with multiple sclerosis (MS) have been discussed, but clarification is still needed in some very practical issues. Portuguese data on this subject remain scattered and need to be analyzed in order to standardize clinical practice.
Objective: This study aimed to describe and analyze the impact of MS on pregnancy and perinatal health of children born to Portuguese mothers with the disease.
The continuous delivery of a levodopa/carbidopa gel suspension (Duodopa®) into the small bowel through a jejunal tube inserted via percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy represents a new treatment method in advanced Parkinson disease. Some severe device-related complications have been described in the last few years. Some of them are associated with phytobezoar formation at the pigtail of the catheter.
