In this work, we employed an attractive hybrid integral transform technique known as the natural transform decomposition method (NTDM) to investigate analytical solutions for the Noyes-Field (NF) model of the time-fractional Belousov-Zhabotinsky (TF-BZ) reaction system. The aforementioned time-fractional model is considered within the framework of the Caputo, Caputo-Fabrizio, and Atangana-Baleanu fractional derivatives. The NTDM couples the Adomian decomposition method and the natural transform method to generate rapidly convergent series-type solutions via an elegant iterative approach.

Multi-environment trials (MET) are crucial for selecting genotypes that are well-suited to different environmental conditions. Incorporating multiple traits in the analysis can provide more reliable recommendations for selecting genotypes with desirable traits, including resistance to the Mungbean Yellow Mosaic Virus (MYMV) and high yield potential. The use of a Multi-Trait Stability Index (MTSI) is a good approach for analyzing the stability of genotypes across multiple traits under MYMV stress.

The present study examines the approximate solutions of the time fractional Benjamin Bona Mahony Burger equation. This equation is critical for characterizing the dynamics of water waves and fluid acoustic gravity waves, as well as explaining the unidirectional propagation of long waves in nonlinear dispersive systems. This equation also describes cold plasma for hydromagnetic and audio waves in harmonic crystals.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a novel growing family of endogenous, small, non- coding, single-stranded RNA molecules directly involved in regulating gene expression at the posttranscriptional level. High conservation of miRNAs in plant provides the foundation for identification of new miRNAs in other plant species through homology alignment. Here, previous known plant miRNAs were BLASTed against the Expressed Sequence Tag (EST) database of Raphanus sativus, and according to a series of filtering criteria, a total of 48 miRNAs belonging to 9 miRNA families were identified, and 16 potential target genes of them were subsequently predicted, most of which seemed to encode transcription factors or enzymes participating in regulation of development, growth and other physiological processes.

Excessive alcohol intake induces hyperlipidemia. Studies suggest that natural principles and their analogs are known to possess anti-hyperlipidemic properties. In the present work we tested the effect of curcumin, an active principle of turmeric (Curcuma longa), and a curcumin analog on alcohol- and thermally oxidized polyunsaturated fatty acid (deltaPUFA)- induced hyperlipidemia.

The matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a family of secreted and membrane-bound zinc endopeptidases. Collectively, these enzymes can degrade all of the components of the extracellular matrix including collagen, fibronectin, laminin, and basement membrane glycoproteins. Regulation in expression and activation of proteinases is one of the most important mechanisms in organ morphogenesis.

Ethanol is one of the most widely used and abused drugs, increasing lipid levels in humans and experimental animals. Heating of oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) produces various lipid peroxidative end products that can aggravate the pathological changes produced by ethanol. In the present communication, the effect of Cuminum cyminum was investigated on alcohol and thermally oxidized oil induced hyperlipidaemia.

A complex of three phosphoproteins (P0, P1 and P2) constitutes the stalk region at the GTPase center of the eukaryotic large ribosomal subunit, amongst which the protein P0 plays the most crucial role. Earlier studies have shown the functional complementation of the conditional P0-null mutant of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (W303dGP0) with orthologous P0 genes from fungal and mammalian organisms, but not the protozoan parasite Leishmania infantum. In this paper we show that the PfP0 gene from the protozoan malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum can functionally complement the conditional P0-null W303dGP0 mutant of S.

Hepatic fibrosis is a result of an imbalance between enhanced matrix synthesis and diminished breakdown of connective tissue proteins, the net result of which is increased deposition of Extra Cellular Matrix. In this concept Matrix Metalloproteinases play an important role because their activity is largely responsible for extra cellular matrix breakdown. In the present study we have tested the influence of curcumin, the active principle of turmeric, on matrix metalloproteinase expression during alcohol and thermally oxidised sunflower oil induced liver toxicity.

In recent years, there has been an escalation in alcohol abuse and inevitably, alcohol related disorders are becoming an increasingly important cause of morbidity and mortality. Alcohol is known to induce a dose dependent increase in lipid peroxidation. Alcohol related disabilities are more pronounced when taken along with diet rich in polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA).

Purpose: Alcoholic liver disease is a major medical complication of alcohol abuse and a common liver disease in western countries. Increasing evidence demonstrates that oxidative stress plays an important etiologic role in the development of alcoholic liver disease. Alcohol alone or in combination with high fat is known to cause oxidative injury.

Alcohol related disabilities are one of the world's major public health concerns. The effects of alcohol intake include alteration of redox state, acetaldehyde and free radical production, which lead to membrane damage. The damage caused by alcohol is enhanced by polyunsaturated fatty acid ingestion.

The ribosomal phosphoprotein P0 of the human malarial parasite Plasmodium falciparum (PfP0) has been identified as a protective surface protein. In Drosophila, P0 protein functions in the nucleus. The ribosomal function of P0 is mediated at the stalk of the large ribosomal subunit at the GTPase centre, where the elongation factor eEF2 binds.

It is a known fact that ethanol increases lipid levels in humans and experimental animals. In this study, we have investigated the effect of dendrodoine analogue (DA), DA-[4-amino-5-benzoyl-2-(4-methoxyphenylamino)-thiazole], on alcohol- and thermally oxidized sunflower oil-induced hyperlipidemia. Ethanol was given to animals at a dose of 5 ml of 20% solution and thermally oxidized sunflower oil at a level of 15% (15 g oil/100 g feed).

The anticarcinogenic properties of some commonly consumed spices and leafy vegetables were investigated. The effects of feeding the plant products on the induction of squamous cell carcinomas in the stomachs of Swiss mice by feeding benzo[a]pyrene(B[a]P) and on the induction of hepatomas in Wistar rats by feeding 3'-methyl-4-dimethylaminoazobenzene (3'MeDAB) were investigated. Among the nine plant products tested, cumin seeds (Cuminum cyminum Linn) and basil leaves (Ocimum sanctum Linn) significantly decreased the incidence of both B[a]P-induced neoplasia and 3'MeDAB-induced hepatomas.

Out of various spices and leafy vegetables screened for their influence on the carcinogen-detoxifying enzyme, glutathione-S-transferase (GST) in Swiss mice, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, asafoetida, turmeric, kandathipili, neem flowers, manathakkali leaves, drumstick leaves, basil leaves and ponnakanni leaves increased GST activity by more than 78% in the stomach, liver and oesophagus, - high enough to be considered as protective agents against carcinogenesis. Glutathione levels were also significantly elevated in the three tissues by these plant products. All of them except neem flowers, significantly suppressed (in vivo) the chromosome aberrations (CA) caused by benzo(a)pyrene in mouse bone marrow cells.
