Heavy metalloid stress such as arsenic (As) toxicity and nutrient imbalance constitute a significant threat to plant productivity and development. Plants produce sulfur (S)-rich molecules like glutathione (GSH) to detoxify arsenic, but sulfur deficiency worsens its impact.
