In this study, a numerical dynamic analysis of ceiling raster panels was performed. The analysis was conducted on panels designed with inspiration from bionics. The purpose of the analysis was to enable optimisation of the location of the holes in the designed slabs in order to achieve the preferred dynamic properties, including the natural frequencies of the slabs and an appropriate airflow to avoid the occurrence of resonance.

The uninterrupted functionality of these networks is paramount, necessitating regular maintenance and rehabilitation. In densely populated urban areas, trenchless methods, particularly those employing cured-in-place pipe technology, have emerged as the most cost-efficient approach for network rehabilitation.

The key elements of the construction of VIG plates are the support pillars. Therefore, an important issue is the analysis of their mechanical properties, such as Young's modulus and their variability over a long period of time.

The deflection of panes towards the centre of the structure caused by atmospheric pressure is a mechanical problem that occurs in this type of structure. The aim of this study was to extend previous research on the optimal arrangement of support pillars in terms of eigenfrequencies and dynamics to include aesthetic aspects.
