CYSTIC PANCREATIC LESIONS: IMAGING VERSUS ANATOMOPATHOLOGICAL FINDINGS-HOW TO IMPROVE DIAGNOSTIC ACCURACY?

Background: Pancreatic cystic lesions are a group of pancreatic neoplasms with different behavior and risk of malignancy. Imaging diagnosis and differentiation of these lesions remain a challenge.

Aims: The aim of this study was to evaluate the agreement between computed tomography and/or magnetic resonance imaging and post-operative pathologic diagnoses of Pancreatic cystic lesions in a University Hospital of São Paulo State.

Analysis of natural history of the diaphragmatic injury on the right in mice.

Objective: to evaluate natural evolution of right diaphragmatic injury after the surgical removal of a portion from hemi diaphragm.

Methods: the animals were submitted to a surgical removal of portion from right hemi diaphragm by median laparotomy. The sample consists of 42 animals being 2 animals from pilot project and 40 operated animals.

Congenital pulmonary lymphangiectasia: CT and pathologic findings.

Congenital pulmonary lymphangiectasia is a rare disease characterized by dilation of lymphatic channels without lymphatic proliferation. The disease is seen almost exclusively in infancy and early childhood. The authors report 2 cases of pulmonary lymphangiectasia.
