Objective: In this work, role of the adrenergic nerve system (alpha1 and beta2) in adjustment of the bronchomotor tonus in healthy people was researched.
Methods: Parameters of the lung function are determined by Body plethysmography. Raw and ITGV were registered and SRaw was calculated as well.

- The inhalation of Propranolol led to a significant drop in oxygen levels (PaO2) and a negligible rise in carbon dioxide levels (PaCO2).
- While the beta2-adrenergic stimulator Hexoprenaline provided protective effects against the drop in PaO2, the alpha2-adrenergic blocker Tolazoline did not show any protective effects against changes in respiratory gases caused by Propranolol.
