Background: The number of women in the chemical industry has recently increased due to more women pursuing science careers. It is necessary, therefore, to analyze the emerging health risks for female workers in the chemical industry. This study examines the relationship between occupational health and sex/gender in the chemical industry, with a gender perspective.

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation therapy for refractory' Crohn disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Despite the availability of numerous treatments for Crohn disease, there are patients who do not respond to any therapy, thereby diminishing their quality of life. The aim of this review is to analyze the efficacy and safety of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation therapy for refractory Crohn disease.

Methods: This work is a systematic review with meta-analysis conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses.

[Non-drug treatments for chronic non-malignant pain: patients' perceptions].

Background: The prevalence of chronic pain in Spain is 17%. There is a need for more scientific data on non-drug treat-ments that can be effectively used to treat chronic pain. The aim of this study is to analyze how patients with chronic non-malignant pain perceive non-drug approaches.

This paper introduces the concept of refractory spiritual suffering in the terminal patient, the factors that influence it, the possibility of their assessment and care approach emphasizing the role of nurse care to despair for identification and relief through the use of taxonomy NANDA-NOC-NIC (NNN). We conclude that it is necessary to incorporate into the care routine screening of spiritual suffering, assessment, prevention and interdisciplinary care. When direct care nursing developed aimed at improving levels of hope that the patient achieves his spiritual suffering terminal decline.
