We conducted comparative global gene expression profiling on four biological replicates of skin from each breed.

A TiO-guanine nanocomposite (TG NC)-based electrochemical biosensor was immobilized with hemagglutinin (HA) gene specific probe with 5' NH group on screen-printed gold electrode (probe(ss)DNA-TG-SPGE). The modified biosensor was examined for H1N1 swine flu virus. TG NCs along with precursors were characterized spectroscopically and morphologically by employing several approaches.

Mullerian Polyp of the Vagina: Report of Three Cases of a Previously Undescribed Lesion With Discussion of the Differential Diagnosis.

Benign and malignant neoplasms of the vagina are rare. We report 3 primary vaginal polypoid lesions involving the upper or mid-vagina in patients aged 40, 60, and 67 years. The lesions bore a striking morphologic resemblance to benign endocervical or endometrial polyps and we suggest the designation Mullerian polyp of the vagina.

Background: Childhood cancers are emerging as an essential concern in India where there is lack of a specific programme component or policy to address childhood cancer control. There is limited information on the status and quality of childhood cancer care services in India. This paper describes the childhood cancer care services available at secondary and tertiary-level hospitals in India through a cross sectional study design.

Tumour stage, treatment, and survival of women with high-grade serous tubo-ovarian cancer in UKCTOCS: an exploratory analysis of a randomised controlled trial.

Background: In UKCTOCS, there was a decrease in the diagnosis of advanced stage tubo-ovarian cancer but no reduction in deaths in the multimodal screening group compared with the no screening group. Therefore, we did exploratory analyses of patients with high-grade serous ovarian cancer to understand the reason for the discrepancy.

Methods: UKCTOCS was a 13-centre randomised controlled trial of screening postmenopausal women from the general population, aged 50-74 years, with intact ovaries.
