Introduction: There are limited data on chest computed tomography (CT) findings in the assessment of lung nodules among adult Aboriginal Australians. In this retrospective study, we assessed lung nodules among a group of adult Aboriginal Australians in the Northern Territory of Australia.
Methods: Patients who underwent at least two chest CT scans between 2012 and 2020 among those referred to undergo lung function testing (spirometry) were included.

Introduction: Indigenous Australians have a high prevalence of chronic lung diseases. However, no previous studies have reported on cystic lung disease in an Indigenous patient cohort.
Methods: This report describes 20 adult Indigenous patients noted to have incidental lung cysts on chest computed tomography (CT) while being referred to undergo lung function tests in the Northern Territory of Australia.
Introduction: There is a lack of data on chest computed tomography (CT) findings on mediastinal lymph node enlargement (MLE), including normal size threshold of less than 10 or 15 mm for MLE among Indigenous Australians. In this study, we assessed the significance and the applicability of the current guidelines for the threshold for abnormal MLE among adult Indigenous Australians.
Methods: Patients who underwent chest CT between 2012 and 2020 among those referred to undergo lung function test (spirometry) were assessed for the presence of MLE which were classified as Group A (no measurable nodes), Group B (<10 mm), Group C (≥10 to 14.
Background: This article examines a dynamic wearable assistive device for individuals suffering from pain in the neck. As a part of the clinical treatment, static braces/cervical collars are suggested, however, these collars aid the person in maintaining the upright position of the head but restrict the head motion to a single configuration. To address this problem, a dynamic wearable assistive cervical collar is fabricated based on human anatomical head/neck data.

Phytochemicals of 38 Medicinal plants of North-East India, with anti-viral, anti-oxidant or anti-bacterial properties were screened for properties of drug likeness. 231 phytochemicals were screened with LIPINSKI rule of five to obtain 131 candidates, which were further screened with SWISS-ADME, to obtain 50 phytochemicals. These phytochemicals were docked with the spike protein of the Delta variant (B.

The structural and spectroscopic analyses of 3-PFPO were made by using B3LYP/HF level with 6-311++G(d, p) basis set. The fundamental vibrations are assigned on the basis of the total energy distribution (TED) of the vibrational modes, calculated with scaled quantum mechanics (SQM) method and PQS program.

The structural and spectroscopic studies of 3t-pentyl-2r,6c-diphenylpiperidin-4-one semicarbazone (PDPOSC) were made by adopting B3LYP/HF levels theory using 6-311++G(d,p) basis set. The FT-IR and Raman spectra were recorded in solid phase, the fundamental vibrations were assigned on the basis of the total energy distribution (TED) of the vibrational modes, calculated with scaled quantum mechanics (SQM) method and PQS program. DFT method indicates that B3LYP is superior to HF method for molecular vibrational analysis.

The molecular structure and vibrational modes of 3-acetylcoumarin oxime carbonate (abbreviated as 3-ACOC) have been investigated by FT-IR, FT-Raman, NMR spectra and also by computational methods using HF and B3LYP with 6-311++G(d,p) basis set. The optimized geometric parameters (bond lengths, bond angles and dihedral angles) were in good agreement with the corresponding experimental values of 3-ACOC. The calculated vibrational frequencies of normal modes from DFT method matched well with the experimental values.

In this study, the molecular structure and vibrational spectra of 3t-pentyl2r,6c-diphenylpiperidin-4-one thiosemicarbazone (PDPOTSC) were studied. The ground-state molecular geometry was ascertained by using the density functional theory (DFT)/B3LYP method using 6-31++G(d,p) as a basis set. The vibrational (FT-IR and FT-Raman) spectra of PDPOTSC were computed using DFT/B3LYP and HF methods with 6-31++G(d,p) basis set.

A 13-year-old boy presented for care with a complaint of chronic LBP and subsequent loss of quality of life. The patient was examined and diagnosed by means of history, clinical testing and use of imaging.

This may be due to reduced perfusion usually due to atherosclerosis or thromboembolism. Choice of treatment depends on understanding the different underlying pathophysiologic mechanisms.

We report 2 cases where spiral computed tomography with intravenous contrast confirmed the clinical suspicion of sternoclavicular joint dislocation and also allowed assessment of the adjacent mediastinum for possible complications.

We report the unique findings on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in two cases of diet-related Wernicke encephalopathy (WE). There was no relation to alcohol in either case. The first patient presented with seizures and showed changes of WE on diffusion-weighted MRI with involvement of the motor strip.
