Teres major (TM) and latissimus dorsi (LD) ruptures are relatively rare in the general population and have primarily been observed in overhead throwing athletes. Although the gold standard of care has traditionally been nonoperative, surgical repair of TM and LD tendon ruptures has become increasingly prevalent in high-level athletes who fail to return to play. Literature is scarce regarding operative repair of these tendon ruptures.

This study seeks to determine whether patients with bilateral thumb carpometacarpal osteoarthritis were sufficiently satisfied with their surgeries to choose to undergo surgery again. The null hypothesis is that patients are dissatisfied with the results of the first surgery. Out of 46 living patients meeting enrollment criteria, 41 were enrolled and evaluated using the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) score and the Enneking musculoskeletal score.

We present the case of a 61-year-old woman with a subacute elbow dislocation, who was referred to our institution 4 weeks after a fall. She was treated with open reduction and temporary bridging internal fixation through a posterior approach with a limited contact dynamic compression plate. After 4 weeks, the hardware was removed.
