Purpose: The present international survey among healthcare providers aimed to collect data on theoretical knowledge and clinical practices in the diagnosis and management of cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) and lactose intolerance (LI) in infants.
Methods: A global survey was conducted in several countries with diverse health care settings. The survey consisted of multiple-choice questions in 3 main domains: (1) understanding and clinical practices around CMPA and LI; (2) case scenarios; and (3) disease-specific knowledge and potential educational needs.

Introduction: The latest joint H. pylori NASPGHAN and ESPGHAN clinical guidelines published in 2016, contain 20 statements that have been questioned in practice regarding their applicability in Latin America (LA); in particular in relation to gastric cancer prevention.
Methods: We conduc ted a critical analysis of the literature, with special emphasis on LA data and established the level of evidence and level of recommendation of the most controversial claims in the Joint Guidelines.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the European Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN), its close partner associations submitted comments and felicitations which are presented here. These include words from the Latin American (LASPGHAN), North American (NASPGHAN) and Panarabian Societies (PASPGHAN) and the Commonwealth Association (CAPGHAN) of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, the Federation of International Societies of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (FISPGHAN), the European Academy of Pediatrics (EAP), the European Pediatric Association/Union of National Pediatric Societies (EPA-UNEPSA), the International Pediatric Association (IPA), the European Crohn's and Colitis Organisation (ECCO), European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) , the Federation of European Nutrition Societies (FENS), and United European Gastroenterology (UEG).

Methods: A systematic review of the literature (time period: 2009-2014) was performed. Representatives of both societies evaluated the quality of evidence using GRADE (Grading of Recommendation Assessment, Development, and Evaluation) to formulate recommendations, which were voted upon and finalized using a Delphi process and face-to-face meeting.
Objective: As the clinical implications of Helicobacter pylori infection in children and adolescents continue to evolve, ESPGHAN and NASPGHAN jointly renewed clinical guidelines using a standardized evidence-based approach to develop updated recommendations for children and adolescents in North America and Europe.
Methods: An international panel of 11 pediatric gastroenterologists, 2 epidemiologists, 1 microbiologist, and 1 pathologist was selected by societies that developed evidence-based guidelines based on the Delphi process with anonymous voting in a final face-to-face meeting. A systematic literature search was performed on 8 databases of relevance including publications from January 2000 to December 2009.
