Objective: To investigate impact of body mass index (BMI) on survival across different histologies and stages of renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
Methods: We conducted a retrospective multicenter analysis of clear cell (ccRCC) and non-ccRCC. Obesity was defined according to the WHO criteria (non-Asian BMI >30 Kg/m, Asian BMI >27.
Purpose: American Urological Association guidelines recommend testicular prosthesis discussion prior to orchiectomy. Utilization may be low. We compared outcomes and care utilization between concurrent implant (CI) and staged implant (SI) insertion after radical orchiectomy.

To date, the standard of care for these patients has been either chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Herein, we evaluated the relative cost-effectiveness of these management strategies.

Materials And Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of the International Marker Consortium for Renal Cancer (INMARC) registry. Patients were separated into younger (<65 years old) and elder (≥65 years old) age groups, and rates of de novo estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR<45 mL/min/1.
Background: Several markers of inflammation have been associated with oncologic outcomes. Prognostic markers are not well-defined for renal cell carcinoma (RCC). We sought to investigate the association of preoperative neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and De Ritis ratio with mortality in RCC.

Patients And Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of patients who underwent partial (PN) or radical nephrectomy (RN) and were free of preoperative CKD (estimated glomerular filtration rate [eGFR] ≥60 mL/min/1.73 m ).
Over the last decade, an increasing number of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have been assessed for therapeutic efficacy in urothelial carcinoma (UC). The high cost has prompted multiple cost-effectiveness analyses for the various disease stages, with no established consensus. We reviewed the literature to assess the available cost-effectiveness studies and summarize their findings.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed Hispanic and non-Hispanic White patients diagnosed with localized RCC between 2007 and 2020. We used Health Resources and Services Administration criteria to identify patients living in Medically Underserved Areas (MUA).
Introduction: Variability in the success rates for the endoscopic correction of vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) has prompted a debate regarding the use of routine postoperative voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG). This study examines the predictive performance of intraoperative mound morphology (IMM) and the presence of a postoperative ultrasound mound (PUM) on radiologic success, as well as investigates the role of using these two predictive factors as a composite tool to predict VUR resolution after endoscopic treatment.
Methods: This retrospective study included children with primary VUR who underwent endoscopic correction with a double hydrodistension-implantation technique (HIT) and dextranomer/hyaluronic acid copolymer.
Purpose Of Review: extracts have been used as a dietary supplement in healthy populations, including athletes, to non-specifically enhance the natural resistance of the body to both physical and behavior stresses for fighting fatigue and depression. We summarize the information with respect to the new pharmacological activities of extracts and its underlying molecular mechanisms in this review article.
Recent Findings: In addition to its multiplex stress-protective activity, extracts have recently demonstrated its anti-aging, anti-inflammation, immunostimulating, DNA repair and anti-cancer effects in different model systems.
Depression and sleep problems are highly prevalent disorders that are often comorbid with other medical disorders. We evaluated the prevalence and associations of these conditions in patients presenting to a Men's Health clinic. In this retrospective study, 124 patients presenting to a Men's Health clinic completed three urological questionnaires (International Index of Erectile Function [IIEF-5], International Prostate Symptom Score [IPSS], and Androgen Deficiency in Aging Males [ADAM]); and four non-urological questionnaires (Patient Health Questionnaire for depression [PHQ-9], STOP-BANG Sleep Apnea [OSA STOP-BANG], Insomnia Severity Index [ISI], and Epworth Sleepiness Scale [ESS]).

Materials And Methods: A ceramic (phantom) stone was placed in a water-filled clear polymer tube and subjected to continuous laser energy until the stone had retropulsed a distance of 10 cm. The trial was stopped after 60 s if the stone had not reached 10 cm.
Introduction: Antenatal hydronephrosis is a steady source of urology referrals since the era of routine fetal ultrasonography. Although most resolve, there are no guidelines for follow-up.
Objective: Our goal is to define safe parameters with which patients can be discharged early and avoid unnecessary follow-up.
