The purpose of this review study is to provide a condensed compilation of 164 medicinal plants that have been investigated for their neuroprotective aspects by researchers between the years 2012 and 2022 which also includes a recent update of 2023-2024. After using certain keywords to retrieve the data from SCOPUS, it was manually sorted to eliminate any instances of duplication. The article is streamlined into three major segments.

Genistein (GEN), a natural isoflavone possesses a wide range of pharmacological properties and nutraceutical applications. GEN has been studied for its anticancer activity against different types of cancers, but its use in clinical practice is limited due to its low water solubility, rapid metabolism and excretion, lack of cancer cell targeting and poor bioavailability. No drug-delivery system has been reported for enhancing the therapeutic application of this novel hydrophobic molecule.
Methods: In the present research, poly(lactic--glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles of Nim (Nim-nano) were formulated by nanoprecipitation, characterized for physicochemical properties, and screened for anticancer potential in breast (MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231) and pancreatic (AsPC-1) cancer cell lines.
In the present study, we have synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using Pueraria tuberosa aqueous extract (PTAE) in a straightforward manner without involvement of toxic chemicals. Various reaction parameters (reaction time, AgNO concentration, pH, reaction temperature and PTAE concentration) were optimizeded for the synthesis of AgNPs through visual observation of colour change and absorption peak by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The green synthesized AgNPs were analyzed by DLS, FTIR, SEM, TEM, EDS and XRD for their bio-physical characteristics.

Postmenopausal osteoporosis, a silent epidemic, has become a major health hazard, afflicting about 50% of postmenopausal women worldwide and is thought to be a disease with one of the highest incidences in senile people. It is a chronic, progressive condition associated with micro-architectural deterioration of bone tissue that results in low bone mass, decreased bone strength that predisposes to an increased risk of fracture. Women are more likely to develop osteoporosis than men due to reduction in estrogen during menopause which leads to decline in bone formation and increase in bone resorption activity.
