Novel Use of Endoscopic Hemospray to Achieve Hemostasis in Pulmonary Hemorrhage: A Case Series.

This article presents two cases of pulmonary hemorrhage successfully managed using TC-325, a novel hemostatic powder commonly known as Hemospray. Originally approved for endoscopic hemostasis in gastrointestinal bleeding, Hemospray's application in endobronchial bleeding control has not been widely reported. The cases highlight its efficacy in achieving immediate and sustained hemostasis in peripheral pulmonary bleeding, where conventional bronchoscopic therapies may be ineffective.

Complications following symptom-limited thoracentesis using suction.

Background: Thoracentesis using suction is perceived to have increased risk of complications, including pneumothorax and re-expansion pulmonary oedema (REPO). Current guidelines recommend limiting drainage to 1.5 L to avoid REPO.

Amoxicillin/Clavulanic Acid-Induced Agranulocytosis: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid is one of the widely prescribed antibiotics in the outpatient setting giving excellent antimicrobial coverage and relatively safe profile in terms of adverse reactions. Gastrointestinal and cutaneous reactions are among the commonly reported. Our goal is to describe a case of agranulocytosis induced by amoxicillin/clavulanic acid in a previously healthy patient and review prior reports with similar presentation.
