Background: Due to the COVID-19 situation, vaccination is a key factor in reducing the severity and transmission of the disease, especially in the vulnerable population, which includes pregnant women. Currently, various policies are in place to promote the vaccination of pregnant women against COVID-19; however, some pregnant women decline vaccination.

Objective: To determine the effectiveness of oral dydrogesterone in preventing miscarriage in threatened miscarriage.

Methods: A randomized, controlled trial study was conducted among pregnant Thai women at the gestational age of six to less than 20 weeks who visited King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand with threatened miscarriage from August 2021 to August 2022. These pregnant women were randomized to receive oral dydrogesterone 20 mg per day or placebo twice a day until one week after vaginal bleeding stopped or otherwise for a maximum of six weeks.

Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, telemedicine has become a popular adjunct to in-person visits, including for family planning services. This study determined the proportion of clients participated in telemedicine services and the association between sociodemographic factors and telemedicine participation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The adverse effects within the first seven days post-insertion were also reported.
