Morphological diversity and fruit production of wild () on the Northern Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

This study aimed to assess morphological diversity within , a fruit and medicinal wild plant species, based on morphological features and compared the fruit production among morphological types (morphotype) that naturally occur on the northern coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Following one species plant survey, a description of the qualitative morphological features revealed that individuals mainly differed in their leaf shapes, having elliptic, oblong, or obovate leaves. That led us to the identification of three morphotypes, namely and .
