Objective: To analyze the satisfaction and self-confidence of Nursing students regarding the learning process, in the roles of participants and observers, in realistic simulation scenarios.
Method: Observational study with 44 nursing college students in the south of Brazil. Data collection occurred from September to November 2018, through the application of the Learning Satisfaction and Self-Confidence Scale to realistic simulation scenarios.

Cadmium is an environmental pollutant closely linked with cardiovascular diseases that seems to involve endothelium dysfunction and reduced nitric oxide (NO) bioavailability. Knowing that NO causes dilatation through the activation of potassium channels and Na/K-ATPase, we aimed to determine whether acute cadmium administration (10 μM) alters the participation of K channels, voltage-activated calcium channel, and Na/K-ATPase activity in vascular function of isolated aortic rings of rats. Cadmium did not modify the acetylcholine-induced relaxation.

Nitric oxide (NO) plays an important role in physiology of zebrafish. The availability of appropriate analytical techniques to quantify the NO is crucial for studying its role in physiological and pathological conditions.
