We present a 61-year-old woman with a recent transient ischemic attack who presented with presyncope and was ultimately found to have a papillary fibroelastoma at the apex of her left ventricle. She underwent minimally invasive excision of the tumor.

However, an increasing proportion of patients with cardiovascular disease also have an indication for anticoagulant therapy with warfarin. The combination of ASA, clopidogrel and warfarin, also called the cardiac triple therapy (CTT), is emerging in clinical practice, although little is known about its safety.
