Alopecia totalis (AT) is a cosmetically debilitating chronic disease characterized by non-scarring hair loss of the entire scalp. The clinical course of AT is highly unpredictable, and effective durable treatment options are limited. The resolution of alopecia has been reported post-autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; however, no cases of AT remission following chemotherapy alone have been described.
