This study aimed to identify the dietary patterns of Brazilian children aged 6-23 months and to investigate their association with maternal socio-demographic factors. Data from the 2019 Brazilian National Health Survey were used in this cross-sectional study. Mothers of 1616 children aged 6-23 months reported on their children's dietary intake.

Methodology: A cross-sectional data analysis of a sub-sample from Phase 4 of the Pró-Saúde Longitudinal Study (2012-2013), constituting a total of 520 participants. DP were obtained by principal component analysis from a food frequency questionnaire.
