Pain, being a subjective phenomenon, is perceived in different manner by individuals based on various factors including age and gender. Various scales are available in literature to assess and record the pain perceived by an individual. Comparison of commonly used pain perception scales among Saudi Arabian population is scarce.

Artificial Intelligence Application in a Case of Mandibular Third Molar Impaction: A Systematic Review of the Literature.

This systematic review aims to summarize the evidence on the use and applicability of AI in impacted mandibular third molars. Searches were performed in the following databases: PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Quality of life among adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis in Tunisia.

Introduction: our study aimed to assess the quality of life (QOL) among adolescents with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) receiving nonoperative treatment, and to identify the demographic and clinical factors associated with poor QOL.

Methods: this is a cross-sectional study. We included adolescents followed in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Taher Sfar Hospital (Mahdia - Tunisia).

Antegrade double-J stent placement for the treatment of malignant obstructive uropathy: A retrospective cohort study.

Background: Ureteral double- J stent is usually inserted by retrograde approach to treating obstructed upper urinary tract. The antegrade approach, can be suitable alternative in certain situations without general or spinal anesthesia. The present study demonstrates the indications, success rate, and complications of this approach in treatmenting malignant obstructive uropathy.

Oral Hygiene Myths and its Association with Gingival Health Status among Patients in Aseer Region of Saudi Arabia: A Cross-sectional Study.

Aim And Objective: The aim of the study is to assess "Myths in dentistry related to Oral Hygiene and its association with Gingival Health Status among patients visiting Institutional diagnostic clinic in Aseer region of Saudi Arabia."

Materials And Methods: The present study was a cross-sectional study done on 152 subjects attending Institutional diagnostic clinic in Aseer region Saudi Arabia. Myths in dentistry related to oral hygiene were assessed by using a ten-item, multiple-choice, close-ended structured questionnaire and Gingival Health Status was assessed using gingival index described by Loe and Silness on the Ramfjord teeth.

Effects of music therapy on occupational stress and burn-out risk of operating room staff.

The operating theatre staff is exposed to various constraints such as excessive working hours, severe medical conditions and dreadful consequences in case of malpractice. These working conditions may lead to high and chronic levels of stress, which can interfere with medical staff well-being and patients quality of care. The aim of this study is toassess the impact of music therapy on stress levels and burnout risk on the operating room staff.

Translation and validation of the Intermittent Catheterisation Difficulty Questionnaire (ICDQ) in an Arabic population.

: To translate and validate linguistically an Arabic version of the Intermittent Catheterisation Difficulty Questionnaire (ICDQ) adapted to the Tunisian population. : An Arabic translation and cultural adaptation of the ICDQ was obtained via the reverse translation method after two sets of comprehension tests within two groups of 10 patients. Psychometric validation included testing the questionnaire on a group of 30 patients.
