Article Synopsis
  • - The carotid cave is a specific area near the internal carotid artery that houses small aneurysms, which are believed to have a low risk of rupture or growth due to their unique anatomical location.
  • - A study reviewed 290 small carotid cave aneurysms managed from 2000 to 2017, focusing on patient outcomes over 911.0 clinical follow-up years and 726.3 imaging follow-up years.
  • - Findings showed that none of the patients experienced rupture or hemorrhage from these aneurysms, indicating that small carotid cave aneurysms are generally benign.
